WHAT IS PRIME?
PRIME is a six week student internship powered by Portland Bible College designed for high school students to encourage spiritual growth, deeper understanding of the Word of God, and love for the church.
PRIME is for current and incoming high school students who:

Want a deeper biblical foundation

Are not sure where they want to go to college

Want a stronger foundation before heading off to further education

Want hands-on ministry experience and serving opportunities

Student registration for PRIME is $125. Only a $25 deposit is required to secure your spot, and full payment is not due until August 1st, so students can make payments through the summer. Students can receive Portland Bible College credit for their completion of PRIME for an additional $50.

The confirmation email you receive from Brushfire when you register contains a link to view Full Order Details, edit your attendee information, and make payments on an outstanding balance.
Payments (after the initial registration deposit of $25) can be also be made via cash or check. Checks should be written to "Mannahouse Church." Cash or checks may be given directly to your youth pastor or mailed to:

Please include "PRIME" and the name of the student or students to whom the included payment should be applied.Yes! Students who complete PRIME (please see our absence policy) can receive credit at Mannahouse Christian Academy and Portland Bible College. There is a $50 cost associated with PBC credit, and there is no cost associated with MCA credit!
Per PRIME season, students can receive the following credits:-
MCA: 0.5 Bible credit (1 semester)

PBC: 1 elective credit
MCA credit will be automatically applied to current and new students whenever they enroll. In order to receive PBC credit, please be sure to select "Yes" in registration when you are asked if you would like to receive PBC credit.

Yes! Scholarships are available on a case-by-case basis for Mannahouse students who need financial assistance to attend PRIME. Scholarship requests are integrated in registration. Simply select the "Yes" option in registration when asked if you need financial assistance to attend PRIME. If you would like to sponsor a student, please check back. We will provide the 2025 link soon!
Absolutely! Please check back here soon for a link to complete the 2025 sponsorship form. You will be able to donate toward a specific student or toward our PRIME Scholarship Fund.
Students registered for Portland Bible College credit are only allowed one week of absence. If more than one day of class is missed (including incomplete online content for the 4th of July), you may continue the internship but will no longer qualify for PBC credit and will not receive a refund.
Students have the opportunity to serve in a variety of areas at their Mannahouse campus including kids ministry, audio/visual/lighting, and First Impressions!
